The center of my current work: design, marketing, web, software, and AI. Co-Owner | Chief Architect.

One connected practice.
I am Co-Owner | Chief Architect at Appalachia Digital. My work moves between creative direction, marketing strategy, and the architecture of websites and software. The useful part is being able to follow a problem across those boundaries.
Positioning comes before pixels. What is the business offering? Who needs it? What has to happen after someone clicks? Those questions shape the brand, the website, and the systems behind both.
A clear idea still needs a working implementation. That is where design, development, and marketing have to agree with each other.
The work.
- Design & direction
- Creative direction, graphic and brand design, UX/UI, and the decisions that make a business recognizable.
- Marketing & strategy
- Positioning, marketing strategy, conversion, and the connection between an offer and the people it is meant for.
- Web & software
- Next.js websites, custom applications, CRM systems, and the infrastructure behind day-to-day work. TypeScript and React are part of my working stack.
- AI & automation
- AI systems, agentic workflows, and automation that extend what capable people can do. The starting point is the actual task, not the interface for a model.

These projects already carry an Appalachia Digital attribution in the portfolio. Each case study keeps its own evidence and limitations.
Abby’s Elderberry →
A headless storefront for a small-batch elderberry maker — subscriptions, bundle building, wholesale, affiliate, and sales-rep channels running off one catalog.
Their footer credits “Built by Appalachia Digital”.
Stump Stewards →
Thirteen routes built to intercept local intent across five municipalities, and to credential a small operator as commercial-capable.
Appalachia Digital lists Stump Stewards as their client work.
Institute for Christian Statecraft →
Identity and site for a young policy institute that needed to look established enough to recruit fellows, attract donors, and be cited by serious people.

What comes next.
My current focus is the connection between the public-facing work and the systems behind it: websites, CRM development, custom software, AI, and automation. A good front door matters. So does everything that happens after someone walks through it.
